As August approaches it marks the height of the British Summer and for the team at the Jolly Farmer, it means only one thing; that the annual charity music festival JollyStock is only a few weeks away.
JollyStock is a three day event over the August bank holiday weekend where bands and DJ's from around the UK help raise money for various charities. Previous charities have included Teenage Cancer Trust, Help for Heroes, Rowcroft Hospice and Guide Dogs for the Blind. This year we have chosen to support The Helen Foundation.
In what marks the 16 year anniversary of the festival, the line up is one of the most impressive to date, with a blend of local favourites as well as critically acclaimed artists from all over the country.
Festival organiser and landlord of the Jolly Farmer Glenn Powell, believes that JollyStock 20t6 is shaping up to be the best one yet:
“It’s looking like it’s going to be a fantastic weekend and it’s for such a great cause. It’s an opportunity to showcase some of the wonderful talent the local area has to offer alongside a number of exciting acts from other parts of the country.”
Live Music will be on Friday and Sunday with DJ’s playing on the Saturday night.

The Helen Foundation was launched in January 2006 as a living memorial to Helen Elizabeth Kirk, aged 24, who tragically died after a road accident on 26 December 2005.
